Job Description Job Description Project Details: Required Skills: - PHP, MySql and Codigniter developer, with experience in - FTP-Pull: Aggregating Financial News headlines and feeds through XML, RSS. Full-text RSS (FTRSS). - XHTML format, XML Feeds each XML document is heavily tagged so, in addition to having a headline page on our site we are aggregating news headlines and articles by user selected ticker symbols from our database. Project Milestones: First Week: 1) Integrate news feed content and categories for aggregating financial news based on user inputs/stock symbols. Application sends email alerts with headline and text when a new feed is available on a users homepage. In addition, we need to remove landing page and create index homepage. Second Week: 2) Adsense: integrate rich media ad's into site and email alerts. 3) Implement site text, Logo, tabs, resize modules (We will provide further details) The site is hosted on a Softlayer VPN server. The website is about 75% complete the application has full functionality and the user profile management and restrictions are set. The only additions are listed above. Project Duration: We are looking to hire a developer for two weeks of full time development and discuss ongoing maintenance and updates if the work is of good quality.
