Bookkeeper
Job Description Responsible for recording financial transactions which includes: - Producing invoices - Recording sales receipts and deposit incoming cash and checks - Writing and recording checks to vendors and lenders - Recording wire, ACH and credit card payments - Reconciling bank accounts - Properly transferring money between accounts internally - Filing paper records to validate electronic data - Monitoring budget comparing to actual income and expenses - Financially keeps record of organization's assets and their accounting value This job requires attention to detail, making sure to use a system of checks and balances to catch mistakes, and keeping an organized electronic and paper trail that is easy to access and search through. The applicant must be able to proficiently: - Send and receive emails - Keep an email inbox organized - Use a word processing program like Microsoft Word - Use a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel - Keep computer files properly organized placing files in appropriate computer folders The applicant must be knowledgeable using the following accounting software: - QuickBooks - Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Keywords: Bookkeeping, office, processing, writing, excel, word, accounting, spreadsheet, filing, electronic, microsoft, sale
