Counsel On Call seeks a commercial contracts attorney to provide day-to-day management and advice on commercial contracts for a Houston company. The client prefers the candidate to be in Houston; however, someone with the right experience may work remotely with occasional travel to Houston. Hours each week may fluctuate but will mostly be 40 hours for up to six months. The ideal candidate will have the following: - At least 10-15 years of solid experience managing and reviewing commercial contracts - The knowledge and ability to provide advice to non-lawyer contract managers - Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume work flow - A sense of urgency, and the ability to be responsive and efficient are imperative - Experience with commercial contracts on a global level is a plus - Foreign language capabilities are not a necessity, however, good multi-cultural awareness and presence is required - Experience with trade compliance work and a nuclear law background helpful About Counsel On Call Counsel On Call (www.counseloncall.com) offers experienced attorneys and paralegals challenging positions on a wide variety of legal matters with the nation’s leading corporate legal departments and law firms.
