Job Description Seeking a self-motivated, positive, and confident web developer who will design and program sales pages, very basic graphics, create banner ads, and build membership sites. Most often, a few templates or examples will be provided, and then you will be responsible to recreate a website in a similar fashion. Tweaks and changes will happen on an almost daily basis, and the applicant must be able to work quickly and meet deadlines. Most of the sites that we work in are in Wordpress, and the applicant absolutely must be familiar with the Optimize Press platform. Almost all of the sites that we build are in that platform, and we use the WishList Wordpress Plugin to manage memberships. This position will also require creating different membership levels and ensuring that the correct content is placed into each one. The best quality that a person can have for this position is someone who can figure things out quickly, and never uses, "I don't know," or "That can't be done," as an excuse. We like to try new things in our business, and our team members must be able to figure things out. Note: The biggest problem we have had filling this position has been finding reliable people who stick with us for the long haul. What usually happens is we find an applicant who completes one job successfully, and then he or she disappears slowly after time, usually after taking on other clients. We are looking for someone who will be dedicated to our team and complete things very quickly. We make a lot of changes to our sites, and we need somebody who will be on call and ready to work quickly, and do it with a positive attitude. What we do is a lot of fun, and positive energy is required! We would like for this to be a full time position, with you having the ability to make fast changes to web sites and be available when things need to be done. However, sometimes work loads are less than others, so an estimated 15 -20 hours per week is acceptable to begin. Just know that we need someone that we can consider a team member, not just a freelancer. We also regularly meet on Skype, so perfect English is a must.
