Extract Android Tablet Email App from Android 4.0 Source Tree
Job Description With Android 4.0, Google commenced publishing the source tree for Android, including the stock "Email" app which is delivered as part of the base Android build. This project is to take the source for the Email app from the source tree and extract it into a standalone app, which can be compiled for use on any Android 4.x (and, ideally 3.x if possible) system. We will then take this app and add specific customizations to allow it to integrate with our system. This should be a straightforward code porting exercise, but we believe it will appeal to many Android developers as an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Android source tree. You will gain knowledge that you can reuse on other similar projects. (As the code is open source we will not be restricting you from using it in your own projects in the future).
