I have developed a Wordpress site to house my online store for a startup business, however, I need the shopping cart modified to suit the needs of the business. At the moment, the WP eCommerce plugin is powering the cart, but I am happy if another solution is offered. I have an example attached in Excel which is what I need, but useable on a website. The structure of the cart I would like is fairly simple, but has a number of user variables. I would also need to be able to change the $ values over time, so any coding will need to have a reasonably easy way of doing this. If developing the cart in HTML (rather than the plugin PHP) is easier I would be happy to discuss this as well. The outline below is how I would like the cart to function; 1. User selects destination country (the destination country defines one of two categories the user is pointed to). 2. Each category has defined choices (which have individual values, and the user can have multiple purchases of these choices.) 3. User adds selections to cart (and can repeat these steps 1 and 2 as neccessary). 4. As one of the two categories requires further information (and further cost), I need this category to refer to the original country selection and provide a value (multiplied by the users selections in the cart). 5. User selects a postage method (set value) 6. Add a final processing fee to each transaction (set value). 7. User adds details 8. Above details are printed to form for user 9. Payment made (via Paypal, deposit etc). Hopefully this is not too confusing, but if it is, have a look at the excel form which may clear things up. I have some experience in HTML and PHP but what I am after is beyond my ability. For the time frame, I would like something to be ready in 14 days, but am open to extending this time if the project will benefit from it.
