Looking for help redesigning our motion graphics package for a video blog, specifically for graphics that would work well both online and on television. 2 Minute Finance (2minutefinance.com) is a video blog that teaches basic personal finance skills in a 2 minute or shorter video. The blog started in 2008 and our last graphics package update was in early 2010. We've gone through two previous iterations of our graphics package and are now ready for a redesign. Our audience is tech-savvy but range widely in age. We would like the graphics to lean towards a more modern, youthful look, but are open to other ideas. Our web videos are distributed to various video platforms and partners across the web. Soon, these videos will be available on television to millions of households across the United States and beyond through other distribution partnerships. In terms of a graphics package, we're looking for: -Short Intro (2-5 seconds) -Long Intro (4-7 seconds) -Various backgrounds to be used with a green screen -Lower Thirds Package (1-line, 2-line and 3-line) -Bug -Half-Screen overlay -Transitions and revealers -...and integrate royalty-free music and sound effects (sourced by you) to go along with these graphics An ideal candidate would: -Have experience creating these motion graphics for other web video shows and broadcasts or for television -Be able to present a demo reel or show examples of motion graphics they've created for other shows -Have reviewed videos on 2minutefinance.com in order to understand our style and audience (both recent and older videos) -Be able to pitch a high-level overview of what theme or concept they would center the motion graphic design around -Have the creativity to create a fresh new look and branding for 2 Minute Finance through these graphics (Candidates who can work in Quartz Composer and/or design layers for BoinxTV software will be given special consideration on a separate but similar project) We're on a budget, but it doesn't mean we're not willing to pay for good work experience.
