Job Description We have a website business that allows customers to create their own individual property website by uploading photos, text, and other information. We have a live site with current customers using RoR/Heroku/S3. We're planning to deploy a separate version of the site for the Australian market, and need a developer to assist with initial setup and ongoing to add new features/ fix minor bugs with the site. Desired website or component functionality: The separate version would need to be deployed on Heroku, and uses Amazon S3 to store the images. A new Amazon S3 account has been setup. Once setup is complete, below are some examples of ongoing features you would be working on: - Customers create real estate listings. We need to setup a nightly cron job to generate xml feed of all customer listings. Due to the number of listings, this would need to be properly setup to generate an xml file without timing out, and store it in an s3 bucket. - Please explain how you would go about solving this problem, using heroku's cron job, and storing the xml file in our amazon s3 bucket. A general overview is fine. - We're looking for a long term person to add to our team.
