Hello, I'm looking to hire a screenwriter to write, co-write, or ghost write a feature length screenplay based off a Sci Fi / Fantasy eight page treatment I have. The tone is very Goonies, Indy, Explorers, Monster Squad, Astroboy, etc. in nature and I would look for a straight forward fun family story to build upon what is laid out in the treatment. I of course would welcome any and all input and expect the hired writer to bring something to the table, that's why I'll be hiring them. I'm not looking for a transcriber. I am producing this script so this will be a work for hire as I will retain all rights to any material generated. I'm producing this out of my own pocket on a lower budget scale so please keep that in mind when responding with rates, I simply cannot afford standard WGA scale, hence the ad on Craigslist.
