Service Transition Specialist, ITIL V3, Financial Services, 1 year fixed term contract This is a 1 year fixed term contract with a chance of extension We are searching for an ITIL V3 Service Transition Manager to represent the Service Management department of this financial services organisation during the project phase and to ensure the new or changed service operates appropriately and is fully supportable at the time of Go-Live. The Service Transition Specialist will join a team that covers service assurance and design and that is also responsible for financial cost. The client will consider candidates from different sectors so this role would be a good chance for someone to move into the financial services sector. The ITIL Service Transition Specialist will ensure a consistent and seamless approach to ITIL Service Transition across the client and provide a Service Management interface into project teams for Acceptance and Readiness and also identify all Service related risks and issues and ensure they are managed. The Service Transition Analyst will be responsible for creating and reviewing deliverables to achieve operational acceptance and readiness, including; plans, Non Functional Requirements, Acceptance Criteria, Support Model, Warranty Agreements, Acceptance Reports, Financial Handover Forms, Service Level Agreements, Contractual Support Schedules etc. Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Service delivery background with at least 2 years recent transition experience Solid experience of negotiating deliveries from multiple 3rd party vendors, Experience of managing multiple business change projects Ability to chair, facilitate and lead meetings; An understanding and experience of implementing into a live IT infrastructure environment; Experience of working in a large standards-based corporate environment where ability to work to tight deadlines is important; The successful candidate will be qualified to, or actively pursuing, the Manager's certificate in ITIL V3 - but must already have ITIL V3 Foundation level accreditation. Strong acceptance / Transition into Service experience. Experience of structured Project Management methodology Prince2.
