Servoca Resourcing Solutions, Public Sector division are recruiting for Community Payback Supervisors for our Probation Service clients. This role is to supervise offenders ensuring work is delivered as intended. Ensuring good behaviour and discipline of workers at all times. Assist offenders with their problem solving skills, using guidelines available. Suitable candidates will offer: • Ability to model pro-social attitudes and behaviour to offenders • Ability to understand and work to standards • Proven experience of group supervision • Maintain confidentiality and work with offenders within appropriate boundaries • Ability to support each offender’s development of problem solving and other related skills • Ability to work within the policy framework of equality of opportunity, anti-discriminatory practice and managing diversity • Ability to promote Probation Service/Community Service within communities • Awareness of safety, public protection and risk of harm in all aspects of work • Able to challenge unacceptable behaviour • Full Driving Licence (D1) to transport offenders in mini-bus. • Good written communication skills • Basic First Aid knowledge • Understanding of Health & Safety • Conservation, practical, DIY or catering skills • Enhanced CRB (not essential as we can arrange this) Candidates can come from a variety of backgrounds.
