OTC Customer Database Manager
JOB PURPOSE To manage the BASIS and SAP Masterfiles in respect of Customer, Products, Pricing and the Customer Relationship (CRM) modules - ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the of respective Masterfile data information. To provide Master Data services to the Trading, Customer Financial Services team, and both internal and external customers. Ensure customer data, pricing and promotional details are maintained on all accounts within defined timelines and service levels. ACCOUNTABILITIES To act as a role model in the development of direct reports through effective use of coaching and performance review / monitoring processes Carrying out quality performance appraisals, IDP's and one to ones in a timely and effective manner. Developing direct reports and the team through effective and appropriate coaching methods. To ensure the integrity and consistency of data is maintained at all times within all OTC systems on a regular basis. To ensure that business needs are met and required developments in processes and systems and are delivered to meet these requirements. To support the Finance Process activities through cross functionalisation of activities and the provision of general administrative assistance To ensure compliance with EU undertakings, to ensure team work in line with undertakings. To ensure team is briefed on the undertakings. To ensure compliance with both consumer credit and data protection acts. To manage the overall performance of contracted service partners in respect of all Master Data related processes. To drive the awareness of Master Data (customer / pricing / articles) standards and process knowledge with both internal and external customers and stakeholders, through robust business partnering competencies. To maintain the integrity of all customer data and structures through the completion of regular data auditing principals. To actively drive process improvement opportunities within the teams to increase levels of process effectiveness and efficiency. To manage implementation of annual price increases and sales force reorganizations. Managing the maintenance of articles, pricing adjustments and price lists. To own and produce information for the production of KBI and ad-hoc reports as necessary in order to highlight operational performance standards and areas for potential improvement. To ensure that Master Data standards are applied and maintained within defined Enterprise Master Data regulations and guidelines. To continually review practices and procedures to ensure best practice is applied at all times and lead the Master Data agenda with colleagues across the EU organisation. To actively support and manage the scheduled systems agenda specifically in respect of the Customer, Product and / or Pricing related processes and applications. To participate and support data standardisation projects across the BU as well as the wider organisation. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/TECHNICAL SKILLS Qualifications Minimum of 'A' level equivalent or suitable experience. Experience Previous database management experience for a minimum of 2 years Previous people Management experience. Robust business partnering. Managing and driving change management agenda. Strong and confident communication skills. Technical Skills Previous SAP experience desirable
