My large telecommunications client are urgently recruiting for a Flash Application Developer to be responsible for the architecture and development of Flash applications to run on their new set-top box. This position is for a senior developer, experienced in designing and developing applications in Adobe Flash. The client are currently developing a suite of applications to roll out on a new set-top box which will be equipped with Adobe StageCraft 1.2 platform delivering a Flashlite 3.1 runtime environment. Key job responsibilities include: To designing and developing Flash applications for the set-top box. Providing documentation to the team on application architecture and design. Providing release documentation for application deliveries. Working closely with the TV product team to deliver applications to specification. Assisting in the production of detailed requirements and functional specifications for TV Flash applications. The successful applicant will meet one or more of the following: Educated to degree level or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline Has developed Flash applications using ActionScript 2. Is able to document application design in UML. Has had experience of using application design patterns such as MVC. Has experience and can demonstrate an aptitude for computer programming, preferably in a language such as Java, C or C++. Has experience of developing for a Flashlite 3.1 environment preferably for a set-top box using Adobe StageCraft, and if not then mobile phone applications.
