I sold a company last year to a new owner in Texas and promised to withdraw orderly from the other States I was doing business in (LA, MS, AL, GA, SC, VA). This means that all tax accounts (sales, withholding, etc.) have to be closed, certificate of good standing is the nneeded to withdraw from each state. This process is in different stages per state.
