You might also architect websites, design data-driven applications, and find efficient client-server solutions. You must have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and be able to communicate project status, issues, and resolutions. You must be/have: An experienced Web developer, and an expert in using the Microsofts .NET VS2010 technology programming tools and language. Proficient in MS .NET programming language. An understanding of general database concepts. Understanding of the architecture of clients, servers, and Internet systems. Able to write functional and design specifications for Web applications. Able to create and implement Web sites. Able to create and monitor Web applications for clients and servers. Able to design and deliver Web services. Able to code, test, and support database-driven Web applications. Proficient in HTML and XML. Able to understand object-oriented programming. Required skills: Application and page life-cycle management. Security aspects, such as forms authentication and membership and roles. JavaScript, Microsoft Jscript Internet Information Services (IIS 7.0 7.5) Configuration and deployment of Web applications. Consumption and creation of server controls.
