JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Software Developer will design and develop a web based application with a SQL Server DB back end using the existing application written in PHP as a guide for writing the new code. The candidate will lead this development work but most of the work will be done alone, at least initially. There is potential to lead others in supporting development efforts. This position will be working in a 10 person department. COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client is a Cincinnati based global company who provides the most secure, high quality products to businesses, financial institutions, and government agencies. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Design web based application and supporting database architecture (15% of job responsibility). Write code to implement web based application (75% of job responsibility). Communicate and work with team to set goals and achieve a quality product (10% of job responsibility). Will be using SQL Server 2008 R2 database platforms and the following front end development languages: A SP.NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science At least six years’ experience in web application development; at least 5 years of experience in .Net specifically (C#).
