We're a husband and wife duo that has created a feature-length children's musical complete with 10 fully orchestrated songs. At this time we are transforming the musical into an interactive e-book, with the entire narrative done in verse. The songs will be incorporated into the book, along with interactive elements (simple character animations, dragging/moving on screen elements, sound effects, etc.) An exceptional illustrator is needed to bring our interactive e-book to life. Set in a world of musical instruments, the illustrator must be capable of creating a wide variety of instrument characters (with human elements such as arms, expressive faces, etc.) The selected artist is free to tap into their creativity to most effectively design the characters within the basic parametres we've provided. In total, there are 30 illustrated pages (although some pages will be able to re-use certain background images). A page by page description of each image background, as well as all the characters/manipulable elements that will appear on each page will be provided. We have created very rough mock-ups of the characters and will also provide photos of the real-life instruments as reference material. The selected illustrator must be willing to complete the project in a 2-3 month window. Payment will be provided at certain milestones as discussed. Must be willing to transfer all ownership/copyrights for illustrations. Illustrator credit will be provided on title as well as credit listing at end of e-book.
