Software Engineer / Systems Engineer Location is Scottsdale AZ The slots are a moving target - the hiring manager is responsible for more then one contract so the skills will vary depending upon need. We recently hired 2 folks to his team. Manager is looking for good solid software engineers (or systems engineers) who have worked in a DoD environment. Skills preferred C++, Java, .net, C#, Unix, SW testing , SW Development. Application level Its a SW position, full cycle, design work, not just coding… At the beginning, there will be document design work/sw design before they actually write code.. willing to do documentation of sw design docs.. The project is not in the coding phase yet, still heavy on the systems engineering effort at this time, So we are looking for folks with a combo of Sys/SW engineering and Java skills The big requirement for the position is the willingness to write software requirements . We currently have 3 or 4 software engineers on this project who have not written requirements before so experience with this is preferred. . Soon be doing modeling before starting coding by mid-year.
