B asic Functions: Responsible for review and approval of all contractor safety programs.  Responsible for all contractor daily workplace safety.  Responsible for adherence to all Environmental regulations and programs applicable to the site. A ll representatives on the site will have a basic safety responsibility. Safety is our first priority   Safety Responsibilities: ·          Coordinate all facets of company Safety Program including: ·          Adherence to company published safety programs. ·          Review and approval of all contractor safety programs. ·          Review and approve contractor training programs. ·          Audit company and contractor field safety performance. ·          Verification of adherence to all OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements. ·          Attend and report on contractor safety meetings. ·          Review all contractor job safety analysis. ·          Maintain all relevant documentation on Safety activities and performance on site. ·          Incident Investigation and reporting.  Investigates all near misses, first aid’s and OSHA injuries for employees and contractors. ·          Attend periodic Construction performance meetings. ·          Prepare safety reports as necessary. ·          Maintain all company Safety Systems and Equipment as necessary. ·          Liaison with all Emergency Response resources.   Environmental Responsibilities: ·          Compliance with the company Site Management Plan. ·          Compliance with the company Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. ·          Compliance with all RCRA regulations. ·          Review and approve contractors Environmental Plans. ·          Audit compliance with all site environmental plans. ·          Document all required actions and report as necessary   P hysical Requirements/Working Conditions : ·     Work duties are both inside and outside               ·     Loud noises at times ·     Fast paced ·     Handle multiple tasks simultaneously. ·     On call for emergency safety and environmental issues ·     Respirator Fit Test   E ducation/Experience Required: ·          High school diploma or G.E.D. ·          Five years construction or chemical safety experience. ·          Ability to operate or learn to operate job-required equ ipment accurately and efficiently.   E quipment Utilized : ·     Safety Equipment ·          Atmospheric Meters ·      IBM compatible PC ·      Microsoft Windows:  Word, Excel, Power P oint. ·          Various Web Applications ·      E -mail
