The Hosting Administrator will assist the Hosting Manager in the migration of the Company's websites, portals and web services that are primarily based on the Microsoft stack. Candidates will be responsible to assistance with building green-field secure and robust, web hosting environments in accordance with best practice, assistance with security management and restricting access in accordance with best practice, assistance with migrating all the companies applications and services from the current managed hosting provider to a new managed hosting provider in a timely manner with least impact on the business as possible (out of hours work will be required) You will have excellent knowledge of IIS 6 to IIS 7.5 migration experience, scripting knowledge, Strong experience of managing a Microsoft hosting centre built on a Windows Server 2003/2008, IIS6/7 and SQL 2K/2K5/2K8 platform, Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, ideally backed up with relevant Microsoft certification.
