Senior Marketing Manager
This prestigious organisation in the professional services sector require a Senior Marketing Manager to focus on advising the business around go to market strategy, marketing planning and developing and implementing marketing activity to support growth. Your role will be to to position marketing within the business and lead the development of sector marketing plans. Specifically this role will be broadly allocated to two main areas: to lead the UK marketing strategy and key programmes, and to be responsible for the Banking sector marketing strategy and plans. - Understand sector and service line objectives, priorities and accounts to develop and implement UK marketing plans. - Develop and deliver a Banking marketing plan and programme to support banking growth objectives across EMEIA and in line with the global banking priorities. - Lead on major go to market projects (including new solution development, brand and web) and deliver campaigns across the region utilising 'sound' marketing thinking and broad marketing communication tools. - Work closely with European and Global colleagues to ensure integrated marketing programmes support on the team management and operations to further develop and position the EMEIA marketing team as a high performing function. Role Description: • Develop and drive overall UK marketing plan - including oversight for the Relationship Development strategy and web/social media strategy. • Responsible for the EMEIA Banking marketing plan with overall ownership for the priority themes and content upwards to the global centre as well as through to EMEIA network. • Work with the business development and marketing leadership team in developing and embedding a model of marketing support for sectors and service lines. • Support strategic solutions on the development of marketing plans and the successful delivery and evaluation of these plans, with the wider marketing team. • Play a leading role in positioning the marketing function within the business as one which is recognised for delivering 'value' and 'go to market' best practice specifically demonstrating: - Leadership, sound judgement and experience. - Creative input to commercial business plans, marketing plans and activity. - Improvement of processes and practices within the team. - Quality assurance, particularly in relation to written and design output. - Championing the team, its role, services and approach. - People management, counselling and support. - Operational management of the Marketing team including team training, awaydays, space etc. Skills/Experience • Professional services experience and, ideally, knowledge of the financial services industry. • Experience of leading major projects and teams, as well as guiding and coaching individuals in their roles. • Proven experience of managing people and a team. • Strategic thinker who can work across all levels of an organisation, but with demonstrated practicality, commerciality and client focus. • Exposure to executive level staff and the ability to develop trusted business relationships with senior internal and external clients and suppliers.
