Database Developer - DB2/SQL Server - 3 Month Contract My Central London client, who are a well known UK brand, are currently looking for an experienced Database Developer to join a team that is responsible for their business definition, functional definition, and project execution of an Enterprise Data Warehouse. They are looking for a candidate who has extensive development experience and very strong technical skills. Extensive experience as a developer in DB2, Informatica and/or SQL Development environment is essential. The key skills required are; 1. Excellent problem solving skills. 2. DB2/SQL Server stored procedures, views, etc. experience. 3. Experience with job scripting and scheduling technologies, such as Perl, VBScript, SQL Agent and DOS command is required. 4. Ability to create, read, understand, and interpret Data Models. 5. Verbal and written communication skills. Thorough experience with IBM DB2, Informatica and Perl and/or Java is required and any knowledge and experience in NoSQL technologies like Hadoop is a plus.
