Automation Test Lead (Web driver/Java) - £400 - £500 - 6 Months - London Our client a global media client has a prestigious postion working a test lead specialist in their London office . The role: û To carry out quality assurance activities in an Agile environment by: û Taking an active part in the Agile planning process through defining how to prove fulfilment of business requirements û Liaise with business users and product owners togather requirements û Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TestNG to drive Selenium tests. û Show innovation in your approach to automated testing and the structure of the scripts. û Ensure the scalability, maintainability and robustness of the automated test suite û Continually communicate with developers by developing and executing test scripts in an iterative and incremental manner - both between iterations and within iterations û To carry out exploratory testing based on product and business knowledge and document and track defects to closure. û To promote quality awareness within the FT by setting a good example of thoroughness, attention to detail, and flagging all quality deficiencies along with their associated risks each time a project is tested. û To contribute to the building of, and subsequently execute appropriate systems and processes which enable the excellent execution of testing, including (but not limited to): û Robust test strategies û Effective and efficient testing û Policies on testing standards and documentation, and the enforcement thereof û Testing peer reviews û Highly effective knowledge transfer within the test team, and between testers and developers To identify risks associated with testing on projects Responsibilites: û Sustained exposure to working with the Agile Methodology û ISEB Certificate in Software Testing û Solid experiance working with TestNG, DBUnit and Selenium IDE/RC/Webdriver û A solid understanding, through actual experience, of all key aspects of testing in an Agile environment, from visual and functional testing, right through to more tecnical testing such as security and performance testing û An understanding of a range of Software Development Lifecycles (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, RAD) and how test activites vary, dependent on the SDLC used If candidates feel that they are suitable please send your CV's through - alternatively please contact 0207002 0069 for further information Project Partners is part of Hydrogen Group.
