We require a site build for an online gift sharing community. There will be TWO core visitor groups to the site: 1) Those who are SEARCHING for specific product ideas. 2) Those who want to SHARE their product ideas with others. The websites function, structure & layout is similar to that of where users are invited to sign-up to the site to share product ideas and/or rate existing ideas. COMMUNITY The site will need to include a forum community using something like vBulletin. Like many forum sites, members of the community will be able to achieve different status levels based on their involvement in the community. RATING SYSTEM These ideas can then be rated by other users of the community similarly to Youtube & Stumble Upon. E.g. Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down. The site will then need features such as 'Top rated products this week/month/year/' ? see Hotukdeals for similar function. SHARING SYSTEM When posting product ideas users need to be able to input various details about the product they're sharing. This includes 'tags' that help describe the product they're sharing, as well as the ability to upload pictures for each product. SEARCH FEATURE Members will need to be able to search for products by selecting drop down box options and by inputting keywords which will match with tags. The search results would then have to be prioritised based on ratings from other users and the relevance of details inputted.
