This is a script to manage contests an entries for a client of my located at www.fishfulthinking.ca Here are the details: 1. All forward facing (client seen) stuff will use the design of the site (www.fishfulthinking.ca) 2. Admin panel will allow the admin user to create as many contests as needed, as well as select a random winner from the entrants list any time they want. Contests can be active or disabled (disabled contests are displayed in a secondary list and do not show up on the main screen, they can be activated again if they were deactivated in error) 3. On the front end, each contest will have a sign up form similar to this: http://fishfulthinking.ca/contests_mercury.php (unique intro paragraph for each contest) and a disclaimer at the bottom. (This may be standard I will check with the client) 4. When the user signs up to the contest the script will query the aweber database for their username via the api, if the user is already a subscriber, than they will just be entered into the contest, if they are not, they must sign up to the newsletter and will only be added to the contest when they click the confirmation link that is emailed to them from aweber. 5.Allow users to Like the company on facebook and follow them on twitter for an extra entry (For each action).
