Our Client in Wallingford, CT has a Contract to Hire opening for a Senior JAVA Developer. Need Candidates who are currently working as Technical Leads with hands on development experience and technical leadership. Responsible for designing applications supporting Provider Experience processing platforms Strong understanding of project life cycle methodology (agile, waterfall) and procedures in building and supporting large complex systems Strong knowledge of organization policies and procedures Requirements Strong knowledge of organization policies and procedures Demonstrated experience in working with various geographically diverse associates and vendor partners. Demonstrated 5+ years of experience in high level and detailed level OOAD design using UML in either Rational or other similar toolsets Demonstrated experience with large-scale distributed systems using message queues, SOA and related technologies Demonstrated experience in designing and building systems for high availability, security, scalability and high volume transactions Demonstrated experience in using Rational Toolsets (Requisite Pro, Clear Case, Clear Quest, Rational Design, RAD, RSA, RSM) to deliver systems. Prefer 5+ years of experience in Rational Toolsets Demonstrated experience with Websphere application servers and corresponding development tools, build too Demonstrated Hands-On experience in Java/J2EE (Web Application Development, Spring, SpringMVC, IBM MQ, JUnit, Code Coverage, Profiling, Performance Tuning) technologies. Prefer 8+ years of experience in development using these technologies. Experience in data modeling, database design and working with RDBMS like Oracle, DB2 and/or SQL Server will be positive Demonstrated 8+ years of SQL development background including performance and tuning skill-sets Candidate should be Right to Hire and should be willing to relocate to Wallingford, CT
