HR Business Partner (South and Birmingham)
A superb opportunity to join a succesful HR Team in the South of England. You can be based anywhere in the South but our client has its head office in Hitchin with new locations opening and existing around the South. An HR professional with commercial acumen and TUPE experience. Culturally a grafter willing to role their sleeves up in a hands on environment. The role will cover a field with a Southern office base. Someone target driven with streamlining and business efficiency knowledge. A strong business mindset, common sense and strong analytical skills. Someone who appreciates a diverse culture and is ideas driven. A strong legal knowlege and generalist background, committed with a hard work ethos. Understand the business goals and build a strong partnership with managers and support their business continuity and growth plansProvide generalist HR support to managers covering the full scope of compensation and benefits, management development, resource management and employment relationsEnsure the structure and design of the branches are maximising productivity and growth and ensuring structures are regularly reviewedDevelop management capability through coaching, facilitation and workshopsLead and support on employees succession plans to ensure top talent is retained and developedManage end to end TUPE mobilisation programmes including de-mobilisation programmesIdentify and undertake initiatives that deliver value to the branches and reduce costs, e.g. reduced sickness levels, improved retention and succession planningBusiness projects that drive improved business capability and system simplificationProvide support to the HR Service desk as required. Work closely with the Support Centre to ensure deadlines and internal service level agreements are metShare learning experiences with the team to drive continuous development of the function SKILLS Sound knowledge of employment law Ability to understand the business and balance commercial needs with assessed risks Sound experience in management coaching and development Strong skills in influencing and negotiating Demonstrate (Experience) managing union relationships A' Level education or equivalent experience CIPD Qualified and ability to apply skills Experience of managing complex problems and proposing solutions Ownership of HR within client area End to end TUPE experience, including union involvement Experience of working with Local Government Confidence in own ability Keen to learn and develop in Human Resources Attention to detail and completer finisher Good common sense and ability to articulate a situation Professional, personable and adaptable style Dedication to team and business success 'Can do' positive attitude and energy to succeed Flexibility to travel across the country regularly Commercial Awareness Parkside Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.Parkside Recruitment is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
