Position: Application Architect / Engineer - J2EE Architect / Integration Engineer Duration: 3+ months / Contract to hire Location: Salt Lake City, UT Looking for an Application Implementation Architect / Engineer with J2EE and Websphere application development background. Would like someone with Core Banking / Banking Processing Software implementation experience. This motivated technical Application Implementation Architect will be in a Lead position on on the Core Banking application team. You will work with a team of developers, on-site and offshore, to design, code, test and implement a next generation banking platform. The position will require learning new vendor software components to a proficiency level that enables the evaluation of vendor delivered software customizations. Long-term responsibilities will include support of software upgrades and maintenance and development of in-house and vendor customized code as required for future banking initiatives. The position may require some travel, including to India.
