Pharmaceutical  consulting company seeks an experienced  freelance Medical Illustrator  to preferably work on-site  in our Belmont, MA office   Requirements: Demonstrated medical illustration ability Successful candidate will take illustrations from concept to completion in ways that engage, attract, and communicate accurately Attention to detail, ability to gain understanding of complex medical content, commitment to produce accurate, high-quality work Ability to illustrate with an eye towards subsequent repurposing and animation Candidate takes direction well, and is open to suggestions and revisions to their work Must work on the Windows PC platform Experience with PC-based versions of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint, and also with Macromedia Flash are all a must Strong understanding of design, typography, and use of color Candidate functions effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes effectively, and adheres to stringent deadlines Successful candidate displays a can-do attitude, willingness to pitch in based on project needs, is comfortable working both collaboratively on teams and individually This position will work closely with a team made up of medical writers, instructional designers, software engineers, and other medical illustrators to create accurate, high-quality, engaging, and educational training materials for the pharmaceutical industry.
