RF Protocol Software Test Engineer
Title: RF Protocol Software Test Engineer Location: Redmond, WA Duration: Long-Term Contract (No end date as such) Salary: 85K to 110K+ & Top Benefits (See our benefits on twitter.com/nytecinc) The Candidate: Must have experience in RF protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (some Wi-Max). The Role: -The candidate will be involved with the design team but primarily engaged in test and debug, and live in the lab. Skills: -5 to 7+ years of experience. Experience can be substituted for a Master's degree or Ph.D., with 3 years of experience in the field, not academic projects. -802.11 (Protocols) -Bluetooth (Protocols) -Wi-Fi (Protocols) -Firmware Validation -Performance Testing -Tools: Chariot, NETIQ, XNIA, Wireshark -3GPP specs -C, C++, Matlab -Ability to troubleshoot low level electrical and RF issues -Test equipment’s like Oscilloscopes and signal generators -Knowledge of scripting tools and excel Plusses: -Spectrum Analyzer (Agilent, Anritsu etc.) -VSA (Vector Signal Analyzer) -Satimo chambers -Great if you have design and test experience. Education: BSEE W/Comm or CSE or related. Individuals with high end RF (Antenna and Field expertise) is NOT what we are looking for, but having this as well as the experience below is a huge plus!
