Japanese Patent Translators needed - long term collaboration
viaLanguage is seeking skilled linguists to join our team and provide Patent translation services. We are looking for translators who specialize in one of the following fields: o Engineering o Hi-tech o Computer Science o Biomedical o Pharma Minimum qualifications required: • 5+ years of proven Patent translation experience, especially in patent translation for filing; • Technical degree such as M.S.E.E., PhD., or M.D. in engineering, science, medicine, or computer science; • Understanding of the differences in regulation, practice and statutes between USPTO, EPO and JPO; • Experience using SDLX/Trados translation memory tools • We prefer translators who include proofreading by a second linguist as part of his/her service (résumé/CV of proofreader will be requested from finalists) • Reference/published patents Please send cover letter and résumé/CV describing Patent and Intellectual Property translation experience as your hourly and per source rates in US dollars to [email removed*].
