This Candidate will be required to review, analyze and modify programming including coding, testing debugging, and documenting programs. The .Net Developer will be required to work closely with the QA Analyst assisting in identifying test cases or defect corrections and will also be required to work with the Support Team working with problem cases and identifying fixes. Desired Skills: • Oracle PL/SQL. • .Net. • #C and Uniface+, a Compuware development tool. Responsibilities: • Perform program analysis and design and create component specifications. • Perform software mapping and configuration specifications and implements them into the software. • Prepare system and technical design documentation. • Perform code development and unit testing according to design/requirements specification. • Follow SDLC process. • Provide on-call support for production systems and new software releases. • Assist in the identification of software bugs or modification needs and monitors program problem resolution. • Create estimates and contribute project planning, control and status reporting. Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Technical: • Proficiency with using Database Triggers and Stored Procedures (Oracle PL/SQL Preferred). • Proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET web services, IIS or Uniface. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). • Knowledge using query tools skills - SQL, Toad, Ultra Edit, etc. • Knowledge using UNIX command line and Shell Scripts. Professional: • Proven ability to analyze and recommend solutions to simple/moderate business and technical situations. • Ability to understand how adjacent applications relate to one another. • Knowledge on client specific applications, hardware or the staffing industry is a plus. • Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment. • Strong communication skills including verbal, written and listening. • Works collaboratively with others to achieve group and business goals. • Ability to prioritize and efficiently process multiple issues/tasks concurrently. • Excellent attention to detail. • Strong analytical thinking skills. • Ability to prioritize and effectively handle multiple tasks. • Demonstrate initiative and self motivation.
