Electronic Engineer - Battery Systems
Duties/Responsibilities - Acquire and maintain expertise in the field of power systems, focused on battery and other portable power technologies. - Develop trade analyses and select candidate power systems in the multi-kWh size range. - Design for increased system efficiency, safety, energy density, and power output. - Develop battery packs and ancillary charging and monitoring systems. - Design to relevant codes for battery safety, including 9310 and UN certifications. - Develop design documentation and manufacturing inputs related to manufacture and test of battery systems. Requirements: - BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred), and a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience. - Experience in the design of battery systems and ancillary battery support equipment. - U.S. Citizenship, Pre-Employment Drug Screen, and Background Check required.
