Narrative Designer Technical Game Design Experience Experience Using a Scripting Language Game Writing Ability, Concept Art Creation/Storyboarding PAY RATE: $27.50-33.00/HOUR Volt Workforce Solutions has a long-term temporary position available in Kirkland, WA for a Narrative Designer. Position Description: Reporting to the Narrative Director, the Narrative Designer is responsible for the technical implementation of the game story. The Narrative Designer will be relied upon to collaborate with other Designers, Artists and Writers to implement story content using Game Editors and Scripting systems as part of the iterative process. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Under supervision of the Narrative Director, the Narrative Designer: Is responsible for technical implementation of narrative content. Collaborates with: Other Designers to assist in design and implementation of stories using Game Editors and Scripting systems. External teams to evangelize and champion storytelling outlined by the Creative Director. The Art team on environmental storytelling to support the Narrative Director's vision. This is an estimated 6-month (until 8/31/12) contingent / temporary position in Kirkland, WA, through Volt Workforce Solutions, based in Raleigh, NC.
