I'd like you to complete a small piece of analysis using some publicly available data and present it in a series of PowerPoint slides. I have attached a data set downloaded from the ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) website. It's a dataset of counts of Australian businesses, by postcode, by industry, by the annual turnover. I'd like you to analyse this data using http://www.tableausoftware.com/ (just download the trial version) and then put together a presentation (5-10 slides approx) with a series of Tableau visualisations that detail the story the data is telling about the geographical distribution of businesses, and the size of particular industries, and anything else you can think of. The deck would also have a title page, executive summary, etc., as if it was a proper client presentation. This project must be done using Tableau Software. One thing to be aware of is that Tableau can't read data that is structured as cross-tabulations so you are going to need to clean up the dataset so that each row of the datafile is a unique combination of the data's dimensions. I'd also recommend you parse the state/postcode field into separate elements, for analysis purposes.
