Project Scheduler   Description This resource is needed to support a Nuclear Licensing Project. The project schedule is currently broken into 5 different schedules. Contract resources have not been loaded for the activities they are support. The effort will be to integrate the individual schedules into one, assure all project activities have been properly defined. And develop cost and schedule alignment. This is a very critical project with key stakeholders that understand the value of the project schedule. A quick turn around and recovery is needed in this effort.     MEP Project Controls Specialist Responsibilities: Supports project team and scheduling personnel efforts toward the development of the project plan and translating the project plan into the project schedule. - Develops and provides analysis of project schedules, including, as applicable, CPM software implementation, time impact and delay analysis, Schedule Health Analysis, review of periodic schedule updates, and risk assessments. - Ensures the credibility of the information contained in the schedule. - Assists with the preparation of project time and/or cost claims. - Develops and records project historical schedule information and lessons learned - Applies methodologies, techniques and tools, software, standards and guidelines for planning/scheduling; knowledgeable in application of scheduling software and application of the software- Primavera 6.7 - Ensures that required project planning/scheduling controls are appropriately implemented and maintained. - Participates in continuous improvement of the scheduling organization through benchmarking and maintaining affiliations with industry scheduling organizations and local/national chapters. - Support the Program Office Center of Excellence initiatives for Employee Engagement and Project Management Maturity.   Location:  Marysville, MI, North area projects, this is Belle River, Marysville, & St. Clair.   Duration:  Asap - 2/28/2013, long term contract position.
