Position Description: The consultant position reports to the SAP Manufacturing SDCC Lead for the functional and technical area of SAP. Scope of work will be focused on the on-going steady state support which may entail activities outside of a traditional work day due to global coordination aspects of the job. Responsibilities: Support of business issues and questions and providing resolution to such issues Activities include requirements gathering, functional specification authoring, interface testing, documentation, and implementation. The consultant will maintain/setup SAP objects such as master and transactional data, configuration, idoc creation and any other tasks necessary to send/receive SAP data to/from middleware/edge-system. The consultant will be expected to work independently, interacting with functional, technical, and possibly business team members Skill & Experience: 3-5 Years experience in SAP configuration / functional design Ability to actively lead/participate in group session & have the ability to coordinate multiple activities between multiple groups. Ability/experience working with and/or coordinating outsourced/off-shore work teams. Knowledge and experience with SAP Integration methods (Idocs, ALE, etc.) Experience collaborating with multiple teams to provide solutions – pure development, BASIS, business, etc. Experienced with documenting software designs Able to work independently or with little direction Nice to have: Quality Center Testing tool (writing & executing tests) Batch process scheduling tools: Autosys & UC4
