Job description: We are looking for a Microsoft SharePoint Business Intelligence Consultant who will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of our BI web applications. Here's what you need to know. Your responsibilities: - Configuring SharePoint BI and all of its elements: PPS, Dashboards, etc. - Review business requirements working with other team members - Perform a technical analysis of requirements - Produce a solid, detailed technical design - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision - Work with the QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround - Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use Your qualifications: - A fundamental understanding of SharePoint 2010 - SSIS, SSAS, SSRS (we can live without SSIS if necessary) - OLAP, Data Marts, and Data Warehousing (resource should understand the concepts of those and be able to explain the benefits of data marts and data warehouses) - SQL Server service accounts for accessing the database (so clients can access their data through Excel, Visio, or another analysis program) - Ability to create connection strings for Office programs (like Excel) - Exposure to Oracle and DB/2 (nice to have, but we can probably get by without them having this) - Business Connectivity Services - PerformancePoint Services - Dashboard Designer - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - The drive, flexibility and passion to work independently and thrive in a remote-work environment - Strong communication skills - 3-5 years of programming experience - A complete Elance profile - References or an established reputation on Elance preferred Desired Skills: Data Warehousing, OLAP, SQL Server, Microsoft Sharepoint, Database Keywords: Database Development, Sharepoint, Data, SQL, Database, Warehousing, Microsoft, Server, OLAP
