Data Quality Solution Architect/Project Coordinator/Functional Programmer Analyst. Primary responsibility will be to develop Data Quality Solutions and business requirements translating them into a design that can be built then implemented. This role will also assist the project manager with project scoping, coordinating and tracking. Activities included analyzing the data using various data quality profiling techniques, architecting data quality solutions and ensuring implementation of solution based on DQ Principles. Good communication, oral and written, a must to be able to explain the data quality principles and services in business terms when guiding the business through various profiling and other DQ activities/techniques to ensure the appropriate requirements gathered and DQ solution implemented. This person needs to understand the Data Quality Services guiding principles and work independently to apply them on various projects. Team player is critical in the Matrix Organization to align and integrate into the overall project. Participation in starting a new IT Service (SOA) preferably Data Quality is a real plus. • Strong skills in building and maintaining successful networks and relationships with key people across a single functional area to ensure IT projects are supported and successfully delivered. • Organizes and presents ideas in a convincing and compelling manner. • Persuades and influences others with effective verbal and written communication. • Understanding of Data Quality Services principles and techniques. • Understands the value of data quality approach to data analysis using DQ profiling techniques and the importance of on-going data quality monitoring to ensure it continues after initial clean up. • Ability to execute the Data Quality techniques implementing solutions as part of a project but also reusable services that can be shared across the enterprise where appropriate maximizing the value and y ensuring consistency. • Understanding of project planning and coordination techniques and tools. • Develops or modifies moderately complex information systems functional documentation and converts this technical documents and translation into programming languages or implements into COTS technologies. • Identifies Information Management processes and technology changes necessary to support business goals and objectives. • Experience in participating in data profiling efforts for at least one medium-to-large software project. Develop repeatable data assessments/profiling processes and a means to communicate to others the findings. • Experience playing a leadership role in enterprise-wide Data Quality Management, Data Resource Management, Data Stewardship and/or Data Administration programs at a large company. • Data Quality Assessment, Standardization and Management • Solution Architect that understands Data Quality Principles and Techniques • Proven analytical skills to properly evaluate and interpret cross-functional data quality requirements • Ability to resolve complex issues relate to enterprise wide data quality concerns • Ability to architect data quality management enterprise solutions that are in alignment with strategic technology roadmap and emerging industry trends • Management style that exhibits high energy, strategic thinking, collaboration, direct communication and results orientation • Effective in matrix management and team building • Poise, maturity and communication skills necessary to represent the data architecture group internally and externally • Strong presentation, verbal and written communications skills • Data Qualty Architect to assist with the development of: o A Data Quality Roadmapwork and capabilities o Execution of Data Quality Assessment for specific functional areas of the business Provide leadership in defining an enterprise information data quality architecture including: o Data Quality Principles and Process Standards o Architectural Deliverables associated with Portfolio Management and SDLC o Develops value-added, strategic solutions and sharing of best practices throughout the organization and the data quality architectural community o Collaborate with Global Shared Service Governance teams to institutionalize policy, standards and project related architectural deliverables. o Facilitates agreement of Enterprise Data Quality definitions with Global Shared Service partners o Provides leadership and direction for the definition of an enterprise data quliaty that supports the business information needs o Collaborate across information management to identify opportunities to leverage common solutions and extend the adoption of standards. o Leads market awareness around evolving Data Quality principles and standards o Leads technical interests in collaboration with outside vendors. o Communicate with team members and other stakeholders in a timely and effective manner in order to keep them apprised of data quality status and relevant issues of interest to, and impact on, the clients and their business areas. Technical qualifications will include: • Data Qulity Principles and Techniques • Data Quality Tool experience • Java, cosuming/using Web Service Sql, Autosys, Unix, and HPQC or equivalent experience • System Development Life Cycle, Data Life Cycle and Project Coordination experience
