10646883 QA Tester Location: Beaverton, OR Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension) Start: ASAP OVERVIEW We are responsible for the support of third party implementation and support of applications used throughout human resources and corporate services worldwide. We are looking for someone who has experience reviewing use cases/functional requirements, writing detailed manual scripts based off those and then running those scripts. This is for a Black box test position. (No coding) REQUIRED Ad hoc testing 3+ years QA/Testing experience Ability to effectively categorize defect issues and report to project teams. A flexible work style and strong logical thought process. Experience in full life-cycle solution delivery projects Experience, interest and adaptability to working in a Waterfall or Lean/Agile delivery environment Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills Passion for QA and testing. Attention to detail, effective communicator, and focus on quality Strong technical competency on PC and Mac. Third party testing experience. Quick learner of technology solution and business operations Excellent Math Skills SharePoint testing, SQL database testing, web/java testing. Black Box Testing You must have a strong logical thought process, a flexible work style, a good sense of humor, and a go get those bugs attitude. PREFERRED Familiarity with testing databases, web, and system integration testing Quality Center experience Automation test experience Data base migration test experience Load testing experience Hand held mobile technology test experience Client knowledge, or working in a highly matrixed environment RESPONSIBILITIES Create detailed test cases/scripts Review Functional specs and use cases Guidance and participation in user acceptance test tasks Execute system testing, functional testing, negative testing, ad hoc testing, integration testing and database testing. Providing project status to QA lead and writing up defects. Interacting with project leaders and providing good QA knowledge to the team
