Socially Conscious Start-up The website will focus on providing incentives to people to volunteer with local non-profits. The emphasis is not on "paying" the volunteers, but rather a way of saying "Thank you." The website will need: 1. Visually pleasing and organized layout 2. Log-in capability for Volunteers, Non-Profits, and Businesses 3. Database to organize and provide a data-driven site 4. Site needs to be able to produce reports for users (Non-profits and Businesses) 5. Secure (financially important data) I am a senior at Gonzaga University and am undertaking this project along with several other seniors and recent grads. Although we are committed to the purpose of a socially-conscious company, we are not looking to pour money into the site or its initial operations. We expect you to be professional, an open-communicator, trustworthy, skillful, experienced, and to provide an excellent value/cost (ROI) ratio. We are not operating under strict time requirements and therefore hope someone could work on this while doing other, more lucrative projects. Saying that, there will have to be definite deadlines which will be set at your discretion. A finished project will include an operating and aesthetically pleasing site and database, with no known glitches or bugs after a trial period. We are looking for quality; the lowest bid may not get the project. Please state the bid at which you feel comfortable doing the work.
