Position #1: IT System Integration/Application Support - Healthcare (2 open) Job Description:  Under general direction, configures, administers, and operates the hospital integration systems such as the interactive patient education, quality systems, finance, reporting, charting, alarm management, automated event notification applications and other information systems integrating real time data with quality and standards data base.  Supervised while working on the integration of applications, knowledge of the SQL Server (including SQL query language),  intermediate experience with Access and/or Crystal Reporting, experience with workflow for a variety of clinical processes directly related to patient care and satisfaction in the hospital environment. Experience in web application development (web based forms with SQL connectivity). Self Starter with the ability to prioritize assignments to support work on various projects and reporting needs.  Principal Duties and Responsibilities  Work with the clinical departments to develop workflow and process steps to utilize the technology in support of specific systems. Participate in the development of policies and procedures designed to ensure the integrity of the database or systems environment. Estimate costs requirements of system to ensure cost effectiveness in projects. Works to integration of various business units. Provides technical assistance to other Information Services personnel. With some direction, meets with vendor, users, and managerial staff to determine and specify system requirements and objectives. Prepares progress reports and other administrative reports with some guidance. Performs systems software analysis for improved performance and integrity as necessary. Works with departmental management to develop appropriate statistics, reports and presentations. Preferred Experience: Basic knowledge of database administration using Microsoft SQL Server and the SQL language including understanding database structures and theories, current database technologies, and data analysis techniques. Intermediate experience with Access, Crystal Reports, and/or database access tools for application delivery. Experience with web application development (e.g. ASP.net, Cold Fusion, PHP, etc.). Basic project management skills, gathering/interpreting requirements, and understanding timelines with working on reporting, hardware, software, or process improvement initiatives. Ability to develop work flow analysis and process design in a clinical or business setting. Well developed oral and written communications skills. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Position #2: IT Systems Coordinator - Healthcare (2 open) Job Description:  Under minimal supervision responsible for maintaining and coordinating various systems and devices within the Information Services Department. Provides client access to applications as appropriate and responsible for interaction with all levels of staff to assist in determining requirements for various systems and devices. Assist other team members and vendors to install and configure the applications and devices to work in a networked environment. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a strong focus on details and strong communication abilities. Principal Duties And Responsibilities Under general supervision, meets with vendors, users, and managerial staff to determine and specify system requirements and objectives. Coordinate or fix malfunctioning devices depending on the level of need. Manage Telecommunications and other devices in inventory for moves, adds, and changes. Participate in the evaluation and coordination of new applications as it relates to Information Services. Evaluate Device inventory and impacts to infrastructure as requirements grow. Develop and maintain processes and procedures as it relates to voice, wireless, and devices. Manage fax machines, analog cards, and other assignments. Coordinate and or support the application configurations as it pertains to the department or hospital. Coordinate and support for the maintenance, fixes, patches, upgrades, and patches as it relates to this area. Coordinates new projects/implementations by tracking details, communications, timelines, plans between all parties involved in the project.
