Part Time Admin Support Needed - Admin Assistant
Zoomba Technologies is an IT Consulting, Installation and support company. Our customers include primarily small businesses (law firms, financial firms, manufacturing) and some home based businesses and residences. We have grown to the point of requiring assistance with appointment scheduling, billing, and internal administrative filing. Seeking a motivated, goal and results, self driving individual that wants to grow with our business. The ideal candidate is a part time student that is interested in working with a small IT based company with a future. Creativity and a personality that drives self and others in the group to provide what they need to accomplish their assignments. Job Description: Your responsibilities: 1) Answer telephones and handle calls by Scheduling or Transferring appropriately; 2) Meet and greet clients and visitors; 3) Create and modify documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint; 4) Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing; 5) Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system; 6) Sign for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages; 7) Maintain Technician Schedules; 8) Support staff in assigned project based work; 9) Light Book Keeping: a) Record expenses within QuickBooks; b) Record invoices and payments in QuickBooks; c) Follow up on overdue invoices; 10) Work with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies; 11) Perform customer follow-up surveys; 12) Participate and occasionally lead process improvement efforts; 13) Ability to develop marketing campaigns and do marketing research a plus. 14) Willingness and ability to learn internal Ticketing System Functions. - Hours and duties are negotiable. However, ability to complete assignments and be available during day time hours will dictate the rate and number of hours per week Your qualifications: - Previous experience as an administrative assistant preferred - Broadband Internet connection - Own Personal Computer with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel 2007 or beyond. - Strong understanding of Internet and online communication tools - Ability to multitask and take on multiple projects - Ability to meet deadlines - Strong communications skills and attention to detail a must - A complete Elance profile - References or an established reputation on Elance preferred Desired Skills: Admin Assistant Keywords: Virtual Assistant, Assistant, Admin
