We are a Texas based advocacy firm assisting financially distressed homeowners with evidence of lender and/or foreclosure fraud. We have systematized "causes of action" (as the lenders seem to systematically violate the same state and federal laws) which we file in the county where the property is located. Historically, we have utilized outside counsel in the local counties where the properties are located. We have decided, instead, to bring on a staff attorney (you) to file these cases and take them to settled negotiation. In rare cases the file will be turned back over to outside counsel for the 1% of time the case actually goes to trial. This is a tremendous opportunity for the right Attorney. On average, the attorney will utilize 10 hrs total per case. A case takes an average of 5 months to complete. You will average 1-2 hours/month per case. We pay $100 per month/per case and $500 at settlement. Very little work is done on the Attorney end. Our staff handles petition preparation and filing. You will handle any opposing counsel conference calls, emails, and settlement discussions. Assuming all parties enjoy working together, work will be on-going throughout 2013.
