Develop Java Based File Transfer Automation Utility (Basic Console Application)
The application to be developed is a Java 6 SE console application, designed to be run on Microsoft Windows XP and above, that enables users to automatically transfer a specified set of input files to a designated SFTP site. It is designed to be run by a batch file, on a single execution bases by an external scheduler, and is not designed to be run by as a Windows Service. It does not include a user interface. The application takes as input one or more files, tests each file to ensure it has not already been processed, and then if it has not already been processed (1) renames the file based on a designated mapping definition, (2) moves it into a ZIP file with other input files, and then (3) transports it to the designated SFTP site. The application requires the developer to implement 1 properties file, containing application properties and configuration, and 1 mapping definition file using XML, and 1 xml based journal to capture historical MD5 hash information for each file input. Logging using log4j should also be implemented. Full specification detail will be provided to the winning bidder.
