Kforce is seeking to fill a PHP Developer position with a client of ours in North Broward. The developer will be an important part of a current development team with 7 members. Duties include new development as well as maintenance of existing software. Developers need to be self-reliant and able to produce high-quality working code in a 24/7 production environment. They will need to handle all phases of the project life cycle including: design, development, testing, quality assurance, project management and the release process. Candidates must be able to work independently and to produce code consistent with company best-practices for coding-guidelines, processes and procedures. . Requirements: A 4 year Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of professional development experience in a production team environment. Expertise with web development using LAMP Stack: PHP, MySQL, Linux. Experience with current application designs: MVC Frameworks. Must have strong communication skills and be a team player. Able to work independently and to produce high-quality working code quickly.
