Je functie: We are the leading telecommunications company in Belgium and a market leader in a number of areas, including retail and wholesale fixed-line telephony services, mobile communications services and broadband data and Internet services. We are actively working on various applications, and we are looking to up staff some of these projects. The candidates will be working in the team of developers of the Group Web Layer.Je profiel: - Core Java and Design Patterns practical knowledge. (Java 5) - J2EE, web technologies. - Web Services, SOAP, REST (xml and json based). Involves development and consumption of such services. - Core Spring 3.0 and Hibernate - Spring MVC - Velocity Templates - Javascript, AJAX (JQuery) ¿ quite essential as the application is customer facing and a being a movie catalog one can expect it to have a lot of visual designs and interactivity. - JUnit testing and automated unit test development practical experience. With spring, xml, json, web services. - Selenium testing for automated web testing (Vikas has already started to learn the basics of selenium). - Experience in Agile Development and Processes(Scrum preferred). And an understanding of Continuous Integration. The candidates should also have the following IT skills - Heavy experience with Agile best practices (automated testing, continuous integration, automatic build, ¿) - Experience in project driven by SCRUM methodology We are seeking motivated consultants that meet the above description to join us full-time in our fast-moving projects. Applicants should be able to work in an English-speaking environment. Knowledge of French and Dutch is a plus, but not required.
