Je functie: As web/mobile app tester you will be responsible for testing the new services before they are launched on the Web or on the market/store. The following key responsibilities will be yours: - You will be integrated in the e-Channel organization and you will mainly report to the Project Manager(s) in charge of the web applications. - With a focus on web application and mobile application testing, you write, guard and execute test cases for cross-departmental projects. - As member of the project core team, you plan, monitor and provide testing input to the Project Manager(s). You might act as a test manager leader/ coordinator according to the importance and the size of the project. You give regular updates to the Project Manager(s) on test plans and tests progress (timing, budget, scope and resources). - You ensure compliance of deliverables with technical and business requirements. You attend project meetings, understand issues in other areas, assist the Project Manager(s) in having at all time an correct view on the status and progress of the planned test cases. - You work within an existing test organization, coordinate and drive your personal work and ensure alignment with colleague testers. - You document test cases and bugs and you align with developers and/or analysts to ensure short bug resolution times. - You communicate all relevant testing issues to the Project Manager(s). - You ensure appropriate escalation of project testing issues "through the lines" when required. - Within the group organization, you work as part of a broader testing community encompassing several development groups. - You test in various technical environments - You advise / make recommendations to the Project Manager(s) on GO, NO GO decision at the end of each testing phase. - You advise / make recommendations for the test cases prioritization.Je profiel: Personality and Values: - @Can do@, proactive and driver mentality. - Methodology minded. - Good communication (written & spoken) skills - Well organized. - Strong team player to allow fast integration into Web team. - Flexible - Stress resistant, easily adaptable to new circumstances - Show initiative and sense of responsibility - Organized and able to work on your own - Analytical mind - Fast learner Languages : English and French or Dutch Language Requirements : Good written and oral English language skills Skills, experience and certification - Minimum 2 years of relevant web testing experience. - Experience in the definition of test cases for several medium to large sized projects. - Solid knowledge of web application testing best practices and tools. - Good technical knowledge of Web Architectures and technologies. - Strong interest in mobile applications. - Good written and oral English language skills. - Knowledge of automated testing & tools (LoadRunner, Quick test Pro, Mercury Quality Center, Selenium, SoapUI, JUnit) is a strong asset. - Knowledge of IT environments, programming languages, analysis techniques, databases and SQL are important. - Experience in the telco world and/or web based self-service systems is considered as a strong advantage.
