FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Immediate need for a Facility & Equipment Maintenance Mechanic. Utilize technical skills to maintain, monitor, and optimize facilities and manufacturing equipment. Directly assist Operations with Facilitative, Equipment\Machinery Maintenance, Hazardous Waste, Waste Water Treatment, and Safety Operations. Work as a team member to sustain production and equipment as required. Assist Operations in writing and revising area procedural specifications and forms. MAJOR ACTIVITIES 1. Assist Operations in maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing facilities and manufacturing equipment. 2. Establish, supervise, perform, and record Preventative Maintenance procedures on facilities and manufacturing equipment. 3. Monitor and perform Hazardous Waste procedures. Schedule pickups and sign manifests 4. Sustain production lines and support equipment as needed to minimize production downtime. 5. Routinely support Etch and Anodizing areas with chemical bath make-up and chemical maintenance. Track usage and inventory levels of all chemicals. 6. Working with facilities and equipment vendors as required. Requisitioning purchases. 7. Ensure the continual implementation of safety practices. Establish, supervise, perform, and record at a minimum: Lockout / Tag Out, Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP), Hazardous Communications, Material Safety Data Sheet, Forklift, Emergency and Fire Prevention Plan; procedures as per OSHA requirements. 8. Insure that building and landscape facilities are optimized. Perform basic facility repairs. 9. Training requirements: RCRA, DOT, ISO9000, Hazwoper, OSHA, and process specifications 10. Communicate daily activities and perform other tasks as assigned. Word, Excel, and Office); Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills a must.
