We are searching for an Infrastructure Solutions Architect for an urgent contract requirement focused on an exciting Data Centre Transformation Program. The role is an initial 6 month contract with a very high likelihood of extending. You will need to demonstrate an expert understanding of Infrastructure Solutions, ideally in the deployment of Private and Public cloud offerings. The role also offers the opportunity to provide strategic direction as part of a highly skilled team during the program of work. Apply today, Interview and start next week!!! You must meet the following criteria to be considered: 3-5+ yrs experience as Infrastructure Architect - Solutions within an Enterprise level environment. A background in Systems Integration. Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate technical solutions to C-level stakeholders. Previous hands on experience with the following: Solaris, HP_UX, LDOMS, RedHat Linux Windows, VMware, Citrix, Exchange and AD Oracle, RAC, ADG, Golden Gate, ASM, Direct NFS, RMAN, Flash backups MS SQL, MySQL Architecture Cisco switches, routers, firewalls and VPNs TCP/IP networking and Network services - DHCP and DNS NAS Arrays, iSCSI, NFS and CIFS Storage - XP, EMC, NetApp + management tools HP Data Protector and backup - Quantum and NetApp VTLs Strong knowledge of large scale virtualisation of various OS. High level performance management and troubleshooting. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Demonstrable analytical skills with ability to carry out decisive action. Desirable: High end knowledge of Cloud infrastructure solutions and the respective management and automation tools. Large scale deployments of Private/Public cloud solutions. Large scale Data Centre transformation, consolidation and migration. High availability and DR solutions.
